Tuition and mandatory fees are reduced according to the withdrawal schedule below:
After the start of the term a withdrawal form must be filed with the Registrar's Office when a student withdraws from the University. The date the student officially notifies the Registrar's Office of the withdrawal is the date used to determine any financial adjustments.
Refunds on meal plans after the second Friday of each semester will be granted only with the approval of the dining office or withdrawal from the University. If approved, unlimited meal plans will be refunded based on the following:
Sharing of a meal plan is not allowed. A $25 fee will be assessed per incident. If you lose your ID card (which is one of your means for gaining access to the dining hall) there will be a $25 fee to replace your card.
If by Friday of the first week of classes the student fails to occupy the assigned room, or cancels the agreement by mutual consent or due to withdrawal from Navitas and the University, the Agreement is canceled and the student receives a 75% refund of the term's housing fee.
Cancellation due to withdrawal from Navitas and the University of New Hampshire or by mutual consent after the first week of classes and within 30 days will result in a 50% refund of the term's housing fee.
Cancellation of the Agreement for any reason after 30 days will result in no refund of the housing fee.
Students who check in or move into a hall or apartment and subsequently move out without consent of the Department of Housing, and do not withdraw from Navitas and the University, are charged the full housing fee.
If the agreement is cancelled, any amount of housing fee/deposit refund due a student will first be applied to said student's current University charge.
Residents evicted or suspended for reasons of conduct will be financially responsible for that term's rent.
Requests for termination of this Agreement during any subsequent term can be considered ONLY IF RECEIVED IN WRITING BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE TERM FOR WHICH THE STUDENT WISHES TO CANCEL. Priority for release will be given to students who withdraw from Navitas and the University and to those requests that show extreme hardship, not necessarily financial. If request is approved, refund or reversal of housing charges will be determined by date of official check-out from the residential facility. Residents evicted or suspended for reasons of conduct will be financially responsible for that term's rent.
