Orientation overview

When you arrive, Navitas at UNH requires all students to attend a short orientation program. This will help you prepare for your experience at the University. At orientation you will learn all you need to know about studying and living at UNH.

What happens at Orientation?

  • Tour the campus

  • Meet the staff of Navitas

  • Get your course schedule/timetable

  • Get introduced to what the seacoast region has to offer

  • Purchase textbooks

  • Obtain your Student ID Card and activate UNH email

  • Meet new friends before starting your studies

  • Take English placement tests


You will also have opportunities to set up a U.S. bank account and purchase a cell phone.

What happens if I do not attend Orientation?

Orientation is mandatory for all students. Students are permitted to miss orientation ONLY if there are unpreventable circumstances. You MUST CONTACT NAVITAS AT UNH to receive instructions about late enrolments. Students who arrive late will have to make up the coursework for the classes they missed. Navitas at UNH students are required to be in attendance before the start of the 2nd week of classes. Please contact the Admissions Officer for more details.
